Overview
Computerized Tomography : Imaging of structures within the body created by a special computer that takes data from multiple x-ray images and compiles them into cross-sectional pictures.
CT Scans : can reveal bony and soft-tissue structures that cannot be visualized with conventional x-rays. Using the same dosage of radiation as an x-ray machine, an entire slice of the body can be made visible with about 100 times more clarity and definition with the CT scan.
